La Chambre photo gallery is presenting 2 series by Canadian photographer Kourtney Roy in its exhibition space at Place d’Austerlitz.
Playing on the recurring presence of the road motif in these images, La Chambre is extending the exhibition at the Gutenberg car park, with a selection of photographs from Enter as Fiction.
This series, in which the artist stages herself, often alone, introduces the performative dimension of Kourtney Roy’s work. In settings reminiscent of large film sets, she plays with the symbols of American pop culture.
