Preamble
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on May 25, 2018 and completes the legislation on the protection of personal data.
Personal data corresponds to any information relating to a natural person who is identified or can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identification number or to one or more elements specific to that person (surname, first name, address, e-mail, telephone, contract number, CB number, …).
The processing of personal data refers to any operation performed on this type of data (collection, storage, transmission, deletion, etc.), whether on paper or by computer. The data controller is the person who determines the purposes of each processing operation and the means of achieving these purposes.
For Parcus, protecting your data is a priority. Therefore, in the interests of transparency, this Privacy Policy aims to explain why your personal data is collected and processed by Parcus, in its capacity as data controller, how it is processed, what rights you have to your data and how you can exercise them.
Porcus reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately.
1. Why does Parcus need to collect your data?
The data Parcus collects is hosted in France using secure protocols.
The legal basis for this processing is your contractual relationship with Parcus and/or Parcus’ legal or regulatory obligations, or your consent, in the case of commercial prospecting, which you may withdraw at any time by sending us an e-mail to the following address: ab@parcus.com.
In general, Parcus will not process your data for purposes incompatible with those for which it was collected, unless you have given your prior consent.
2. Data controller
The person responsible for processing the personal data referred to herein is Name* and Address*.
3. What data does Parcus collect?
Parcus, as data controller within the meaning of the RGPD, limits the collection of personal data to data that is adequate, relevant and strictly necessary for the performance of its activities
With regard to persons outside Parcus, the data collected are:
personal data necessary for Parcus’ product sales activities, i.e. :
the surnames, first names, personal details, functions, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers of any person who has expressed an interest in and consented to receiving information from Parcus.
4. Data transmission
Your personal data will only be passed on to our partners in order to ensure the proper performance of Parcus’ activities, in particular :
staff
service providers involved in our digital communications or events, within the framework of subcontracting agreements and therefore subject to their own commitments to comply with regulations relating to the protection of personal data.
organizations, legal auxiliaries and ministerial officers, as part of their debt collection mission;
5. How long will your data be kept?
Parcus keeps your data for the time necessary to achieve the purposes set out in point 1 of this document, plus the statutory limitation periods.
With regard to data required for the performance of contractual relations with Parcus or to comply with a legal obligation
This data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship. After the contract has been fulfilled, Parcus may archive some of your data to meet accounting or tax obligations or for evidential purposes, in the event of a dispute or claim, subject to the applicable statute of limitations.
Data collected on the basis of your consent
Data used for commercial prospecting purposes may also be kept until the person concerned withdraws his or her consent, or failing that, for a period of 3 years from the last contact the customer/prospect had with Parcus (for example, if you are a customer, this period runs from registration; if you are a prospect, from clicking on a hypertext link contained in an e-mail, a request for documentation, etc.). At the end of this three-year period, Parcus will contact you to find out whether you wish to continue receiving commercial solicitations.
