The renovation of the Austerlitz car park was designed to be environmentally friendly, with a choice of materials (wood and glass), a green façade, low-energy light fittings with presence detectors, gutter outlets at the rear of the building, photovoltaic panels on 224 m2 of the roof and honey production thanks to the 5 beehives installed on the eaves. The signage was designed by Ruedi Baur, who used cyanotypes of the plants in the park to decorate the car park. The car park won the Trophée des Entreprises Publiques Locales in 2010 and an award from the European Parking Association in 2011.
