Mobility and the Parking Observatory

In 2015, Parcus began developing a parking observatory, in anticipation of the decentralisation of parking management. This initiative, which was developed in partnership with the Agence de Développement et d’Urbanisme de l’Agglomération Strasbourgeoise (ADEUS) aims to collect data regarding the occupancy of on-street parking and car parks in order to assist decision making on parking matters.

The initiative is part of the observatory on mobility.

The two first annual reports were published in conjunction with ADEUS and Strasbourg Eurométropole in 2017 and 2018.

The observatory’s creation follows the development of new street data collection technology, which uses scooters and a car equipped with number plate scanners.
