Under the authority of the Standby Team Manager, the Multi-Purpose Employee is required to stand in for car park attendants and cleaning staff. S/he may be required to provide assistance to other teams (e.g. maintenance team, parking pass department), according to the needs of the organisation.
Dealing directly with customers, s/he must ensure that a high quality of service is provided and that a positive corporate image is conveyed.
In his/her role as replacement Car Park Attendant, tasks include:
- Handling of car park customers:
Guiding, advising and assisting customers; ensuring that car park rules are followed, in an appropriately courteous manner.
Collecting payments for car parking, where relevant.

Technical tasks:
Ensuring the proper functioning of all necessary equipment, including payment, surveillance and control systems, as well as any security systems (this includes ensuring that equipment is fully supplied and performing basic maintenance); ensuring the car park’s proper functioning in general.
Performing all necessary administrative tasks.
- General tasks:
Performing surveillance and security duties for the car park and any connected areas.
Performing remote surveillance and remote management duties for any other car parks that depend on your car park.
Performing cleaning and maintenance duties.
Applying company safety and quality procedures.
In his/her role as replacement Cleaning Employee, tasks include:
- Car Park Hygiene:
Performing cleaning tasks to ensure the cleanliness inside and directly around the car park, as requested by the Car Park Manager. This especially includes building interiors, adjacent rooms, toilets, equipment, pay stations, waste containers, green spaces, etc.
Collecting all rubbish; emptying waste containers and dustbins and cleaning them by hand.

Maintenance/Repairs:
Performing various maintenance tasks on the car park’s various facilities and equipment. Performing minor repair interventions throughout the car park.
Performing minor paint jobs.
In his/her role as Additional Team Support:
Depending on his/her skills and abilities, the Multi-purpose Employee will occasionally provide backup to other company teams such as those of the parking pass, technical and IT departments.
Based on the needs of the work organisation, the Multi-purpose Employee may be required to perform other related tasks not listed here.
Skills & experience
No prior qualifications required.
Familiarity with payment systems and buildings would be an advantage.
DIY skills.
Electrical skills (Habilitation électrique BE manœuvre).
