PARCUS (Société des Parkings de la Communauté Urbaine de Strasbourg) was founded in 1973. It is a semi-public company that designs, builds and manages all public pay car parks within the Strasbourg area.

PARCUS plays an important role in Strasbourg's urban transport and planning policy. Recent developments include the opening of the Ste Aurélie car park in 1993 (400 spaces), the Petite France - Ste Marguerite car park in 1996 (which with its 1 000 spaces is the biggest underground car park in Strasbourg) and the Bateliers car park in 1997, with 283 spaces.

When you have got your residential parking disc from the Town Hall, you may :

  • Either park in your district for a flat rate of 10 € / month
  • Or use the preferential hourly parking meter rate of 12 hours for 2,20 €.
